My name is Richard Leslie and I work in the home automation industry , in fact its my passion. Nothing excites me more than designing a state of the art automated set-up for a client. What I really find rewarding is installing a home automation set-up for a disabled person , I really believe that is wear the technology really helps people.

Home automation and smart home technology is usually leading edge technology and a lot of the bespoke turnkey installations are for wealthy clients. However I firmly believe that this technology should be more readily available to the average man in the street.

That who I am targeting with this blog , I want to apply my skills in the business and show that anyone with DIY skills can set up their own smart home and not need a second mortgage to finance it. Smart homes in the future will be the norm and this blog can help many people get there.
